Feeling green lately

To celebrate earth day, I created this layout by using re-cycle stuff from supplies.
If you see on frame (it came from buttons packaging Fancy pants) and cyan cardstock (from Lowe’s paint swatch), 12 months circle (from carter’s tag). What I like the most is the cut out big tree and the snail. Isn't it cute? I add buttons, epoxy stickers, and bling randomly to freshen up. If you want to see more detail supplies, I will post it here.

Altered Frame

This is one of my favorite pictures of my daughters. Caitlen (orange jacket) and Adelene (purple jacket). I remember they both just learn to crawl at that moment. I made this altered frame using Fancy Pants Designs product. Here's the instruction if you wonder how:

  1. Cover the frame with brown patterned paper (Delight: Garden), fold (in order to see the green side) and zig zag stitch on the right side.
  2. Measure and cut patterned paper (Delight: Thoughtful) slightly bigger than inner frame. Stitch randomly on the left side.
  3. Hand cut petal flower, add buttons.
  4. Cut strip patterned paper (Delight: Strips) just to get quote “To live happily is an inward power of the soul) punch scalloped border, ink, attach to the frame as shown.
  5. Add plastic and felt flowers to the frame as shown.
  6. Decorate with brad and buttons.
  7. Cut overlay and tug into the frame.

I really like this new Mixed Media Book from Fancy Pants Designs. This book is filled with different kinds of elements (transparency, felt, chipboard) and you can do beyond your imaginations.

It finally

Today is the day I decided to start my own blog after delaying so many years.
Be patient, I'm little bit behind.
