Tutorial: Folder scrapbook album

Hi there... today I'm so excited sharing a tutorial project with you. I have a lot of old stuff lying around my scrapbook's room. One of them is a notecard packaging from my previous design team. It’s an upcycle from a notecard packaging into folder scrapbook album.

Here's a tutorial so that you could make for your friends.

The original notecard packaging

Into romantic/beautiful folder scrapbook album

 ·         To start, tear off the inside box and paper as shown. Measure and cut slightly bigger to fold

·         Wrap the front cover with Mother Nature Point of time MN63. Tips… I’d always use my bone folder to create crisp look.

·         Cover the inner page with another pattern paper, add edger punch before gluing down together.  Using crop a dile, punch 2 hole to insert fastenator.

·         Stitch with machine all over the side (front only).

·         Start embellish the cover by adding washi tape, tag, stamps, decoupage butterfly FD87

·         I used some older chipboard, spray with adhesive, pour some fragment mica into it.

·         With some additional of glass bead into it before adhere this chipboard into the cover page.

·         Start layering the cover with folded doily, chipboard, decoupage butterflies, heart sticker, pearl combo, lace trimming.

·         To make the inner page, cut paper 6”x12”. Score at 4.5"x9” as shown.

·         Using any gaffer tape, adhere on the top side and make 2 holes to insert the page.

·         Using imprint cardmaking, adhere into the inner page, tie bow from 3 different kinds of ribbons as shown.

And.... this my project featuring Reminisce, Mother Nature and Arcadia.
Hello everyone... I wanted to create a layout with a theme of mother’s day so I pull out my photo taken probably 2 years ago with my daughters.

As you can see, I combined lots of products here. It turned out that Mother Nature, Reminisce and Arcadia are perfect combination! I chose the polka dot paper, postcard and flock as my base before I added some layers on the page, I used gesso on stencil along with chalk and stencil to make it more shabby chic. I’d love to cut my paper with edger punch, especially with interchangeable punch.

As you can see I’m using up in the cloud before I layer it with banner paper. I love a dimensional look and creating lots of layers, I put most of elements using 3D foam adhesive.

Snapshots

Hi everyone.... today I'm sharing this project for Ruby called Kinda Krafty line. I love circle shape, there're so much fun to work with. In this layout, I started with cutting a circle first, then tried to randomly cutting into pie shape then trace back into different kinds of paper (i thought this is a great idea to use your stashes). I had 3 photos that I wanted to use. I created the title with my die cut machine. To raise the image, I used 3-D foam adhesive on hand cut papers.

Lastly I layer more embellishments before gluing down with small zot

For the cover, I love to add every little details like sequins, twill, button, washi tape, ribbon. I found out when gluing sequins is perfect to use zot small from therm o web adhesive.
