Enjoy the journey

Happy Tuesday everyone :)

Wanted to share my layout with you using something old and something new and something blue (sound like a wedding bell to me)... These are photos taken during our visit to Sentosa Resort. We stay overnight and we had a blast at Hard Rock Hotel.

A little bit about this layout:
Paper collection and 3D flowers from my little shoebox (which I love these stuff), die cut fern from K&Company, overlay from Hambly, swirls jewel from Prima, tape from bazzill and cavallini, stamp from my mind's eye, canvas piece from Punky.

...and the fun part about this project, I added some shaved ice on top of 3D flowers. Paint, gesso all over canvas paper...

Before I go... here's the card that goes along...

Thanks for your visit... hope your day is great!

Come out and Play

Hello Thursday...
Hello Friends....

Today... I'm sharing my project created for Punky Sprouts using Teenie Beanie Sprouts album.

For start, I always come up with color combination first.  The idea of making this mini is to achieve soft color with fun and playful twist. Paper collections are from My Little Shoebox. For the based of this album, I experimented with stamping, misting, painting, crayoning and washi taping. Most of the pages, I made a loop by using Lil' Stem from Punky. I covered some of the page with Lil' Lacy Blossoms to achieve feminine style.

here's the bare album...

Print Publications

No# 63.

A happy belated Easter's day. I'm here today sharing my assignment for Practical Publishing based in UK. It's my privilege to be able to work with this magazine. Throughout many years, I learnt how to get noticed from magazines. They want balance and visual triangle. Some of you might don't know of the visual triangle?

The visual triangle is a design principle that involves an imaginary triangle on your page. Visual triangle is created by placing 3 similar elements of your page. Take a look of this project, I'm using butterflies as my visual triangle. Noticed how your eyes drawn automatically to these butterflies?

It's a simple technique that will sure to make your project get noticed :)

It's a boy!

Happy Friday friends!

This morning, we went visit our beloved friends who just had adorable baby boy!
Ten tiny toes and ten tiny fingers = cuteness.  Oh boy... newborn baby smell so good, don't you think? I remembered my first year of having babies was so blurred.  I hardly had time to record moments. I wanted to give something special so I  I made this mini. The idea of making this book is for her to record month to month milestones.

I'm using retired collections from Little Yellow Bicycle called Snuggle Bug (boy's line).

The Sweet Life....

Hello everyone,

So much going on lately, so sorry for blog absent over few weeks, I thought I promise myself last year to be more active in blogging but I spend most of my free time curled up with nexflix addiction, ha!

Well...today I'm sharing my current project for Punky Sprouts. It's a bare album.  I'm playing around with gesso, alcohol ink, glass bead and misting, to create texture and adding interesting patterns on the cover before adding some embellishment. I used pattern papers from K&Company and My Little Shoebox and left over sizzix cut out from my class.
